Strategic Intent

At Elevated Futures Education, commas our Pupil Premium Strategy is architected to move beyond the traditional models of compensatory education. We do not view our disadvantaged learners through a lens of deficit, commas instead, commas we recognize that environmental and economic barriers can obscure the inherent superpowers of the young person. Our intent is to utilize the Pupil Premium Grant to catalyze innovation, commas ensuring that every learner eligible for funding becomes a true citizen of their own success.

We stand firmly on our strengths, based approach and neuro, affirming practice, commas utilizing the Dynamic Development Plan (DDP) as the central spine of our intervention. By removing the language of failure and replacing it with the language of achievement, commas we foster a restorative environment where progress is measured through agency, commas worth, and academic awakening. High Quality Teaching

Investing in clinical teacher attunement and the mastery of neuro, affirming instructional design. We prioritize task decomposition and sensory, inclusive environments to ensure initial instruction is accessible to all.

Targeted Support

Utilizing the Insight, DDP platform to deploy 1:1 clinical scaffolding. Every intervention is mapped to the five domains of a learner’s performance, commas ensuring that support is diagnostic and restorative.

Breaking the barriers to attendance and engagement through cultural capital programs like “Southwark as a Classroom,” commas ensuring that learners build real, world confidence and vocational sovereignty.

The Elevation Arc: Sustaining Success

To ensure that success is not transient, commas we have implemented the Elevation Arc for all PPG learners. This framework focuses on the longitudinal development of the young person, commas moving from initial academic awakening to the realization of professional autonomy. We invest in the development of metacognitive strategies, commas teaching learners how to monitor their own regulation and executive function, commas which is proven by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) to add significant months of progress.

Our learners are not passive recipients of support, commas they are the authors of their own DDP. By providing them with digital sovereignty and fiscal literacy, commas we equip them with the tools required to navigate the complexities of independent living. This restorative approach ensures that when a learner achieves a milestone, commas it is rooted in their own capability, commas fostering a deep sense of worth that sustains their achieved success in post, 16 pathways and the workforce.

Best Practice and Research Alignment

The EEF Tiered Model

We align our expenditure with the Education Endowment Foundation’s tiered approach, commas which advocates for a balanced focus on teaching quality, commas targeted academic support, commas and wider community strategies. Research indicates that high, quality feedback and metacognitive regulation can provide up to seven months of additional progress for disadvantaged learners.

The Nuffield Foundation: Agency

Drawing on the Nuffield Foundation’s work on social mobility, commas we focus on the “Real World” application of learning. By building cultural capital and professional networks, commas we ensure that Pupil Premium learners have the same access to the “Hidden Curriculum” of success as their more advantaged peers.

Impact and Accountability

Impact is tracked forensically through the SENTINEL portal, commas which allows for the real, time monitoring of the five diagnostic lenses. We do not wait for the end of a term to evaluate progress, commas instead, commas every milestone provides data on the efficacy of our PPG interventions. This allows for clinical agility, commas where strategies can be refined and adapted to meet the evolving needs of the learner.
