Staff training at Elevated Futures Education
Everyone who works with our learners, whether teaching staff, support staff, volunteers or governors, has a part to play in keeping them safe and helping them thrive. This hub brings together the training you are required to complete and the professional development you can choose to pursue.
Each course is broken into short sections you can complete at your own pace. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can stop and return whenever you need to. When you finish a course, your completion is recorded and, where applicable, a certificate is issued for your file.
Statutory
Required for all staff and volunteersMandatory training completed on joining and refreshed every year. These courses reflect current statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026, and your completion is recorded on our central register. Please complete these first and before the published deadline.
Role-specific
Assigned by your line managerTraining linked to particular responsibilities, such as first aid, administering medication, exam invigilation or leading educational visits. Your line manager will tell you which of these apply to you. Complete them before taking on the relevant duty.
Optional CPD
Your choice, in your own timeProfessional development you can choose to pursue to deepen your practice or explore a new area. Nothing here is compulsory, but completed courses count towards your appraisal record and can be discussed in supervision.
